Hi everyone! Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and exciting holidays!! I can't believe it has been about two weeks since I have blogged/crafted! I had a lovely break and we have made huge progress with the crafty room...you wouldn't believe it :) And yes I have been a little slack - have to get photos when I can! Well I will be by all of your blogs tonight to say hello :)
First challenge of the year is up over at Saturated Canary and it is a fun one! Your project needs to be based on a song. For my project I have made a special gift box using Reading Beauty, and have based it on the Beauty and the Beast song by Celine Dion :)
The box is a Kaisercraft one that I have painted up and decorated with Pion Designs Papers. I also lined the box with light blue velvet....you can even see some of the gift soaps I have popped in :)
I have coloured up Reading Beauty using my copics. Here are the colours that I used:
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, R11
Hair: E21, E25, E29
Blue Outfit: B93, B95, B97, B99
Purple Book: RV91, RV93, RV95, RV99

Happy New Year my friend. Time sure goes by fast and it was nice taking a little time off. Project is just adorable, the SC image is so cute and great job with the colors and coloring. Flowers are so pretty and all the embellishments. It would make a lovely gift.

So I first saw this on Pinterest and loved the way you did those edges and the "Beauty" sentiment. Then I thought "hey that coloring looks familiar"...then I started reading OH YUP!! Alyce!!
